I've just come to realize this, even though it has been right in front of me my whole life ...

Old People Troll -
I'll tell you about my surgeries
and accidents
and scars
my medications,
and appliances - dentures, hearing aids, eyeglasses.
Then I'll go out on the town and come home to be in bed by 9 p.m.

P.S. Who do I feel bad for?
Young people who spend more time online than anything else.

Who do I feel worse for?
Even younger people.
Somebody has to tell them to go outside and play an hour a day.
Can't get anymore trolled than that.
 
Then there are the Timekeeper trolls who spend their time keeping track of everyone else's online time, not realizing that people don't spend as much time online as the Timekeepers think. Its called multitasking and time management. Which is the one actually wasting time?
 
Loktar, I'm tired of the fighting and taking a break. If that is really what you want to do, fight with someone, then find somebody else who is interested.
 
I am having this conversation elsewhere. A place where there's a GREAT arcade.
 
Want to hear a huge funny?

I was at a drum circle Saturday night. Most of the people that go to this one are people I've known long time and we're all good friends, very social, etc. This tall, lanky fella brought his chair over and sat by me and we started chatting. Started out talking about the weather - dark clouds and super humid, but this is Texas, we'll take the rain. Then, we talked about the yards, gardens, foundations, and other basic infrastructure. Next thing I know we're talking about medications, surgeries, all kinds of aches and pains, and all the other stuff that goes with just getting old. Then, I realized something else. He was flirting with me. I had to take my sugar free tea and tambourine and go home.

Sigh.

I miss those nights we'd sit up all night drinking tea, smoking cigarettes, playing cards and talking about all the super important stuff in the world. I'm hearing Mary singing in the background.
 
No, don't think so. I could be wrong but he looked to me like he was in his 50s also. I'll probably see him again the next time this group gets together. You want me to tell him you're interested?
 
this may be your last chance for happiness, so I would grab it. be honest, you're not likely to do any better, no offence

Who said I was fighting? I didn't name names and neither did you. I thought we were talking about trolls in general. Or was your original post aimed at me, jack, and Onyx?
 
Hanging in there. AFAIK her pacemaker surgery is scheduled for tommorrow and then she'll probably need a few days or so for recovery and then hopefully she'll be home.
