Hunderby

FBI parte due

Folces Weard
New Julia Davis series, written by her and with Armando Iannucci as one of the executive producers.

I was pretty pleased by the first episode. The first quarter or so was kind of wacky in a way that wasn't really that funny and had Julian Barratt narrating, which I thought didn't do that much for the tone, but then Julia came on and started to do farcically sociopathic things everywhere and that was good, because that's what I was watching the show for.

Also, possible CLASSICAL MUSIC ALLUSION when they play Death and the Maiden at the end when the pastor is chasing after his wife? (probably not)

I think it got overshadowed by the Touch Of Cloth SPECTACULAR as I totally forgot it was on. I might watch it online sometime maybe.

Was Kevin Eldon in it?

No, basically nobody from like that circle of comedians at all, unfortunately. Andy Armstrong or whatever doesn't add much to the show so far, either.

I actually wasn't aware of Touch of Cloth until I was trawling Twitter looking for more information on Hunderby today and someone happened to mention both shows in the same context. It is probably next in my "queue," though.

Kevin Eldon's going to have his own show on BBC2 next year, apparently. Maybe it will redefine the comedy paradigm.
