I bought a banjo

Deliverance was a great movie!
 
I believe your definition of "great" and mine differ somewhat.
 
lol.. well if you can get past the squealing part the rest of the movie is great. I read the book too, and I remember liking it, but I don't remember much else.

Steve Martin is pretty sick, but I really am more into the old-timey music and bluegrass, personally.

Nah girrl. I use the metal thingies. I did record a banjo part and put it on my myspace, but it was so bad that at parts i mixed it more or less silent.
 
omg the learning curve for a musical instrument's such a killer.

see - this is why I could never be a musician - I lack the patience.

But I am going out to support my buddies who have a Valentines' Day gig tonight.
Someone's gotta be audience, too!
