It's pretty amazing, actually

Vado is the vehicle for everything from daily commutes to fast workouts to longer-than-planned adventures—an electric bike for life. The smoothest-riding e-Bike experience yet, Vado is designed to boldly take on the ever-changing landscape you'll encounter as a daily rider, carry whatever you need it to, and keep you riding more often.

Redesigned geometry puts you in the best position for everything from workouts to commutes while comfortably keeping your eyes on busy roads. We took learnings from the speed a road rider seeks and the maneuverability a mountain bike rider needs. The rider's position on the Vado instills confidence and, at the same time, optimizes the rider's ability to efficiently power from A to B.

Turbo Full Power 2.0 motor and 710Wh battery offer an unparalleled riding experience, providing a smooth, seamless, and shockingly quiet amplification of your efforts, up to 28 mph. The integrated controller responds to your pedal inputs resulting in intuitive amplification of your efforts with an incredibly natural feel.

MasterMind and Mission Control - The MasterMind display reveals all relevant info about your ride, allows real-time tuning of support levels, and enables over-the-air updates so that your bike gets better over time. MasterMind seamlessly integrates with the Mission Control app for range optimization tools, advanced tuning, on-ride diagnostics, and more.

Proven Smooth Efficiency - We designed a custom testing mechanism to analyze bumps at even the smallest frequency to increase comfort and vision. That precision, paired with a suspended seatpost, higher volume tires, and an 80 mm suspension fork, will flatten roads before your eyes.

Turbo System Lock - Use the Mission Control app to disable your bike's motor and activate the motion sensor alarm. Once locked, the motor cannot be enabled again except by the owner.

Fully Integrated Removable and Lockable Downtube Battery - Easy to charge, easy to secure.
Equipped with DRYTECH Fenders, LED front and rear lights, and 27kg capacity rear HD Rack. The rear rack is compatible with child bike seats, and the bike is also rated to pull a thru-axle trailer.

Hopefully it doesn't explode or light on fire. Be very careful while charging it. Many buildings are now outlawing ebikes, especially from China, due to them exploding or catching on fire and not being able to put them out. City buses and trolleys which normally allow bikes have also outlawed ebikes for just that reason. Also HOAs have outlawed them due to insurance companies refusing to provide insurance unless ebikes are explicitly excluded.

This is a Specialized bike...made in America.. The battery removes from the bike and is charged in a controlled environment.

I'd be more likely to die in a plane crash.

If you had an ebike, why would you be using a bus or a trolley?

I love you
I havent' hopped on the ebike trend yet. And the time I rode one I don't think I was doing it right! :D

I am glad for you! That is awesome!

Thank you Mirah. I took it out yesterday for its first real ride. It has an app that lets your phone measure every metric so you can see what you accomplished at the end of the ride.

I did 15 miles in a little under an hour and it was amazing! The way the bike is powered is "adaptive". It measures your output and then matches it with the electric assist. The effect is as if you've been plodding along for years shifting and downshifting to get up and down hills and then suddenly you have all this power and strength. Basically I did the whole run in 8th gear and was able to power my way through everything. Hills are interesting. The bike senses the elevation change and powers up accordingly. The effect is smooth and very seamless.

I'm sore as hell this morning all over, but it feels great!.

So excited. Joined a group this week that goes on some of the most gorgeous trails several times a week. For e-bikes only. 18.7 miles...an hour and a half, and I'm joining a community of other
e-bikers.

I've been out a few times, but this will be my first real ride with experienced e-bikers.

I'll post pics when I get back :)
