I find it amazing that with such inherently funny material as you can find on youtube, why almost every tv show they make to showcase viral videos sucks so much ass? Even the straight clip shows like Max-X come across as super-cheesy.

The only viral video clips shows that are ever good are the ones that try to play it straight, like the "moments of disaster" type shows on that network I call Shit-getting-broke-channel. Now those shows are hilarious, especially when the host voiceover is all serious. "now watch this sailor as he walks too close to the jet engine. OMG PWNED, I mean, um, thankfully he survived and all that...coming up next, watch as a dude gets a bullhorn up his keyhole."
