OMGLOL..Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Sounds like my new band actually.

Went to the doctor and he fucked my ear with his little plastic see all dildo and said, you have ETD, course I'm so traumatized by Valerie I thought he said something else. So I'm all like, FUCK YOU TOO ASSHOLE. Needless to say, he didn't understand.

So now I'm using hot packs on my little blocked tube and Claritin twice a day, and I'm saying "what" a lot.

Yeah absolutely. I went stone deaf in my right ear on Thursday, thats what they came up with. No infection or inflammation, just the eustachian tube filled with fluid, blocking the eardrum completely.

He said it taked 10 days to two weeks to drain, and I'm already able to equalize the pressure a little by yawning, but still deaf as a post.

So hot packs and claritin. I fucking hate claritin, makes me homicidal.
 
Long story, basically didnt get along with the lead singer much, she was great, but was totally afraid to be seen, so she wouldnt book gigs with high exposure.

I had us lined up for Higher Ground, (this is an A circuit club) and she cancelled that gig without telling me and booked this sleazy little dive in Vergennes, just like she did last month. We fought pretty bitterly over it yesterday, and she started telling me if I wanted to be in the band I'd have to do things her way.

So I said I wasn't in the band anymore. Seems pretty simple.
 
that sucks - but maybe it could be a new opportunity. Are you planning to find another band?
 
Yep, I'm putting an ad in this weeks 7 days, and am going to immerse my self in the club scene for the next few weeks. One thing this wasn't was a midlife crisis.

What it was was just a bad fit.

Still, that sucks about the band thing. You gotta do what you gotta do.
 
Chew Bubble Gum. It really helps. I have a problem in the spring with my allergies that plugs up my eustacian tubes. The chewing flexes the tube and helps unplug all of the clogged drainage from your ears.
 
No, but if you do it right it'll unplug hers. :lol:

Seriously, sorry about the band - good luck in the search for a better one.
 
So are you going to be ruining this lead singers life for being a bitch... It's what I would do.
