Now I'm just tired aye tired of life like an old table put out to rot aye in the rain too not even a cover no not even a cover for the old table not even that dignity no not even that just left to rot aye put out on the scrap heap with no hope of return aye for all is lost aye that it be

I've been reading the basic Buddhism guide. Almost sounds like you wrote it!

It makes sense but then when you actually achieve inner peace you ask yourself "right, why even be alive now that I've eliminated desire?" and just kill yourself?

lol.. I don't think achieving inner peace is that easy though.
