I have never read a Neil Gaiman book

...despite the fact he comes from where I live. I decided to rectify that, and picked up 'Neverwhere' at the weekend.So I will start there with the most successful local author we have

I liked Neverwhere! You could have listened to the BBC radio play version to save time though!

I don't know if you're INTO graphic novels but Sandman is pretty great.

American Gods is a stand out one for me. I loved that book.

Got through just under 100 pages before bed last night. Already impressed - characters fleshed out in super quick time. overlapping stories in short, effective chapters. Me likely.

OH you really should read Good Omens too. He co-wrote that with Terry Pratchett.
