A gift from my ex sister-in-law. However, unlike her, I could not muster up the strength to see the doctor within 48 hours and now there's nothing to be done but sit and wait for it to go away.

I had fever all day Saturday and all Sunday morning, it finally broke Sunday afternoon. I was aching, and coughing and whining and moaning and cursing and then I took a shower.

Now I have a wicked cough and a squeaky voice. I'm contemplating another shower but it's entirely possible I'll go to bed in the exact same panties and jammies I wore all day yesterday and today.

I'm yucky. :bigass:
 
An Update:

I did shower and I even used my yummy good smelling VS body wash & lotion & stuff, even though I can't smell it.

My flu is now reduced to my horse voice, a nasty, non-chunky cough and I have a sty in my right eye.

And thank you BDM and Love Cunt. I am on the mend.

Sounds like you've fallen victim to Witchcraft. Check around to see if any of your relatives have made a voodoo doll of you :(

I know this because my neighbors did something like this to me once... Damn Dragons! :shock:
 
Thank you all for your well wishes...Especially you Panda, 'cause deep down inside I know you love me most of all. ;)

I am much, much, much better today. I still have a sleep interrupting cough but my voice is almost normal and I'm feelin' pretty damn good.
 
I think you got sick with the same thing I had... It started out with a light cough, then went into ultra-high fever mode, complete with dizziness and a total lack of energy and appetite. That lasted for 2 and a half days.

When the fever broke I still had a nasty cough and nasal congestion, but I felt like a million dollars once I started eating again.

I heard that a couple of very young children and very old people died of it and that schools were reporting 20-25% absentee rates for two weeks straight.


It was a nasty one, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
 
I was sick but not as sick as LG. I also feel much better today, it was surelyt something my son passed on to me. He gets sick for a day, I'm sick for a week! Not fair! LOL
