Is this real life?
This week's ep was just a set up for the grand finale, but it was pretty good. The week before had been really weird, so it was nice to get back to the kind of storytelling that dominated the beginning of the series, where we followed lots of characters as they moved the plot along, rather than Sylar's Psychoesque relationship with his mother, which seemed almost like filler.

But what does everyone think about them killing off four main characters? Well, DL might not be dead, but it doesn't look good.. And MALCOLM MACDOWELL?! ARE THEY CRAZY?! I can't see them getting anyone better than that in future, even though everyone will want to be in it now.

And what's Sylar's motivation for wanting to destroy NY, when last week he was so dead set against it? Is it only the fact that he killed his mother?
 
Maybe killing his mom did push him over the edge... Damn that sexy Mohinder for not killing him when he was unconscious!!

Linderman has the power to heal, I wonder if he can heal himself? Or have you read something that says he's really dead?
 
Well he had blood coming out of his eyes and nose and a big whole where his brain had been, I'm guessing he's dead. Plus he seemed to have to concentrate really hard to do it, which wouldn't be possible in his state. His only hope is that someone he's hired can bring back the dead.

I guess killing his mum shook Sylar up a lot, but he did hit her with a snowglobe first. Seemed a bit like he did that on purpose and wanted her to die, and that was before she rejected him.
 
Yeah, I guess having his brain squished was terminal.

I kinda feel like I missed something with Sylar. I do remember him being against the whole NYC blowing up deal.. Didn't something piss him off?
 
Maybe Ted's power is one of the things that's pushing Sylar to blow that shit up, just the plain old "cause i can" attitude.
 
UNLESS when he said "boom" in that menacing way, he didn't mean he was going to intentionally blow up NY(though that seemed to be the implication since he was standing on a rooftop looking over the city)? Maybe he just meant "boom" to anyone who stood in his way?

But somehow it'll still happen.
 
Last night I watched a show on the TV Guide channel called Heroes finale secrets.. THEY DIDN'T TELL NOT EVEN ONE SECRET ABOUT THE DAMN FINALE alsdkfjslkdfjslj!!!!!11

Oh and I didn't know Mohinder didn't really talk that way.. he has an American accent which was kinda weird. Claire has an album now.. she can't sing very good. The cop who can hear everyone's thoughts is in a band with Dr House. Hiro is really a computer guy and he works with LuCash ummmm can't think of any more juicy stuff. Oh Micah can play the piano. Peter is really cute even though he has a crooked mouth. Isaac is also hawt.

LOL.. I don't know any of their real names except Claire's and Dr House BUT IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR IF i USED THEIR REAL NAMES AND NO ONE ELSES.
 
Mohinder's accent is all over the place. Sometimes he sounds American, sometimes English and other times Indian, but I think his backstory explains some of that.

The Peter guy(Milo Ventimiglioianmiaiamiaia?) has a damaged nerve or something, which is why he has that weird mouth thing. Doesn't explain why he has his eyes half closed all the time though!
 
He's trying to be sexy with his eyes. Well I think he's sexy even with the crooked mouth.. maybe even makes him more sexy.

OH yeah the chick who plays Nikki/Jessica said something about her characters trying to CRAP I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT SHE SAID.. something like Nikki and Jessica learning to co-exist.

Do you think they'll still blow up NYC, or will the heroes save the day?
 
I initially said "lol no NY won't blow up that'd be stupid they'd be crappy Heroes if it did", but then a friend pointed out that Isaac painted the explosion and Isaac's premonitions are ALWAYS right. So, year, I guess it will blow up. Who knows what'll happen after that? Season 2 isn't even supposed to have many of the current Heroes, so maybe they won't bother showing the aftermath much?
 
If they do blow up NY and Nathan isn't killed by Sylar that will leave a lot of really cool avenues for them to explore. Isaac didn't paint everything, so it doesn't have to go down exactly as Hiro and Ando saw in the 5yrs in the future episode.. by that I mean, Ando doesn't have to die, and Hiro doesn't have to turn into future badass Hiro, he can still be cute Hiro. OMG
 
Well, you'll find out tonight. But if the next season really is about completely different characters(with a few originals), then anything could happen. Wouldn't be surprised to see Matt die.
 
A lot of people think Matt and Ando die. The preview shows Matt looking like he's been shot in the gut.. so he's probably gonna bite it. I also saw something with Peter and Sylar facing off and both of them were glowing.
 
I'm not so sure about Ando dying. He must be a fan favourite. I know I like him(along with other people who CAN'T die; Mo, Hiro, Peter, Nathan, Sylar, Claire, Nikki and Micah) and he makes a great sounding board for Hiro's thoughts.
 
Why can't Sylar die? Do you think he'll continue to be the main bad guy?
 
That's what I've read. I don't know if he'll be the main bad guy in season 2, but he's supposed to be in it.
 
OH.. well I thought for sure they'd kill off Sylar and get a new bad guy for the next time.. but it kinda makes sense, Sylar is an uber evil villain and it would be a shame to kill him so soon.

Even though I don't particularly care for Nathan or grandma Patrelli I hope Sylar doesn't kill either of them. I WISH THEY'D JUST BLOW UP WITH NY.
 
I don't like any of the Petrelli family(unless you count Claire), but I think they're too central to the plot to get killed. Then again, this time last week I'd've said the same about Linderman and Thompson.
 
Sylar himself doesn't (or didn't) understand why he would blow up innocent people, since there's no gain to it. He said as much when he got Isaac's powers.

As for Linderman...if he can heal himself, I don't think there's any coming back from the brain blow-out. Apparently if the brain stem is affected, he, and Claire and Peter, stay dead, until it's removed.

Loved how Thompson died. Never saw it coming...just BANG!
 
I like Peter, even if he does some kinda stupid stuff... he should take Claire and get the hell out of NY.
