actually, it probably is. Remember DB Cooper? Hijacked a plane. Got a ransom. Parachuted out. They never found his body. They found a 65 million year old TRex, but a 40 year old dead guy carrying a million dollars in a parachute . That one, they missed. If they say he's real, you know some asshole, will want a trophy.
They found a bagful of rotted cash last couple years that made them think dude got killed on impact or in the woods. And just to tie your example even more closely to the original "hard to spell" scenario: DB Cooper is a misnomer based on somebody misspelling the name on the ransom note, where the guy called himself "Dan Cooper".
A man dies and both his wife and his mistress are called to the morgue to ID his body. The wife tell the attendant that the husband has a distinctive tattoo on his penis that reads SWAN. The mistress, confused by this said "No he doesn't, it says SASKATCHEWAN."
Cuz see? The wife never saw him with a hard on. hahaha.
