I don't see what the appeal is but I've only seen him in (a few) movies and not his SNL stuff AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE LIKE DIFFERENT HUMOUR AND STUFF I GUESS.q
 
Most of his movies are incredibly stupid.. but I laughed a lot during Talladega Nights, not so much during Anchorman. He was pretty funny on SNL, well not that SNL is all that funny anyway.
 
only time I thought hey he isnt sucking was in The Producers where his inanity is well-served.
When he sings "Springtime For Hitler" in lederhosen...ok, that's funny!
 
I thought Anchorman was just painfully unfunny but I do think Will Ferrel can be very good given the chance.

One of the most retarded movies ever is one that was spun off a sketch they did on SNL.


It's called Night at the Roxbury.

Is it a good movie? No, no it's not. It's utterly stupid.


Still, get high and watch it and it takes on a whole new dynamic.

He's gotten worse as he's gotten more famous. The Anchorman was decent, Talladega Nights was OK in parts, and Blades of Glory, from what I've heard, sucked royally.
 
I haven't seen any of his recent stuff.
 
He was good in Zoolander, BUT EVERYONE WAS.
