In jaws, there is a character that looks and talks so much like Robert Shaw I have always thought it was him.

But that was Ben Gardner, whose head floats out the boat later.

Jesus, I saw that movie in the theater when it came out and ol' Ben Gardner's head rolling out of the boat made me jump up and scatter my popcorn over everyone in front of me.

I was 10 or 11 when Jaws came out, and my whole family went to see it at the duplex cinema. I was scared, so I went to the other movie.

It was The Who's Tommy. Probably scarred me more than the shark ever could...

I've not seen Tommy in years, but I remember how messed up it was.

Fun fact: the shark in Jaws wasn't actually a real shark. The real shark was so tough to work with that Spielberg just taped two dolphins together.
