When I defended the Mine Field, and sought to spare them from our attentions.

I see that now. Just because some of my friends post there, is no reason to forget they are a pack of elitist swine, afraid to think for themselves, lest they be denied Wacky's magically addictive Kool Aid.

One would think that a "highbrow" spam forum could easily co-exist with a more down to earth spammery, but that is apparently not the case.

So fuck the Mine Field. Fuck their sexual fantasies of star trek actors, fuck their fascination with BB, Michael Jackson and sex with ducks.

Fuck Gagh spamming the hell out of our forum just because he feels like it.

Fuck their notions of "fake drama" Fuck anyone anywhere that think's they're better than you just because their tastes differ from yours.

If Yub or anyone else wants to go there and put up with their silly little rules and pecking order that's fine; plus also more power to them.

As for my part, I'm done with the Mine Field.

This is mostly about the "fake drama" I "created" in trying to lure Yub here, because most of the posters there didn't seem to appreciate his lolcat pictures.
 
Yes, it is a rather closed social circle in there. But you'll encounter that sort of attitude on any given message board, or anywhere in real life for that matter.

See, the problem here is that you are a "giver," and the Minefield is not appreciative of what you are offering. Instead you might consider yourself a conduit to provide Minefield content to the masses in other subfora, via quotes and links and commentary.

Or you could stop thinking of others and start thinking of yourself!

Yes, the Badlands are boring and have little activity. It will remain the boring trash bin of the forum. Attempting to define it by what it has to endure (Terrible MF oppression) will hardly change this.
