Idiot Doctor Who fans ruin play

I thought she had to pull out of that play before it even started with a sprained ankle?

There was a piece in The Times last week - it shows a shocked & terrified David Tennant signing somebody's programme looking to his left, away from who he was signing for.

It went on to explain what he had seen, was a Doctor Who fan in a fucking Dalek headpiece approaching him whilst waffling through the Dalek voice synthesiser.

People are banned from presenting him with Dr Who stuff to sign while he does his Hamlet. I can't blame him - this sort of shit could possibly make Tennant quit the role. Who wants to be saddled with stalk-a-freaks with the rest of their life?

This story made me laugh

Doctor Who star David Tennant is such a hit playing Hamlet that he can't leave the theatre without being mobbed.

The audience went wild for his performance as the prince of Denmark on Saturday night.

But he has had to tell director Gregory Doran they can't meet in a cafe as he would be besieged by fans.

Tennant, 37, said: "I can't go there now - it just turns into a sci-fi convention."

Dr Who fans mingled with regular theatre-goers for his sell-out run with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. Dozens of people queued in vain to get tickets on Saturday.

As Tennant left the theatre, hundreds mobbed him.

Others have waited there during the week wanting him to autograph merchandise.

By contrast, former Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart, who plays Hamlet's uncle, Claudius, has been left almost ignored amid all the fervour for Tennant.

It conjured an image of Dr Who geeks, all dressed up pounding the streets after Tennant, whilst Patrick Stewart chases after the geeks demanding he sign their shit too.

The theatre actually made a public statement saying that no Dr.Who or Trek merchandise would be signed. I'm glad it's not Trek fans who are being portrayed as nuts this time. :)

I remember stories about Stewart being mobbed and hating it before, but yeah, I bet he secretly loved it (especially if he was being mobbed by 25 year old girls who he could seduce.)

I made Patrick Stewart sign a Data mug. Great day.

25 girls at a Star Trek convention?

You should have insisted it was a "Lore mug" to confuse him then ran away singing "OH I LOVE STAR TREK NEXT GEN, I WATCHIT ALL OVER AND OVER AGAIN."

FACT: I have seen exactly zero episodes of Dr. Who.

It's quite stupid really when you think about it.

Most things are stupid when you think about them. Like HATE.
