Here is the answer to your problem.

Just go into Tools, Internet Options, and click on the Advanced tab. Just start checking and unchecking boxes.

Though I use IE7 again now but I like to have both browsers on the computer. You can pimp them out in different ways.

Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet Zone > Custom Level

Scroll to the bottom of the list and enable *Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows*.
