Home repair....

I have a water leak somewhere in my bathroom, I'm determined today to find it and fix it!!

I have a wrench.

Hokay..I just went through the same thing, although in my case it progressed to mold in the floorboards.

Get a good flashlight and start from just under the faucet sink main, and go from there. I've actually learned to fix plumbing on my own in the last 6 months.

If you have a lot of rust metal in your water like lime, sulfur or calcium, check that plug behind the tub spout, the one that controls the up and down for the spou/shower/ and the tub. Sometimes that gets plugged with rust deposits and stuff and will leak over that.
 
You can fix my bathroom when you're done.

The shower fixture is busted so that when you turn the handle all the way to the right, instead of the water going cold and turning off, the water goes back to pure hot, and doesn't shut off.

MAKE ME PROUD!
 
You need a poolboy.. who doesn't have plumber butt but is a plumber.

I think I found the water leak and it will require going to Lowe's for one of those plastic fill thingies that fits in the toilet tank. I shut off the water supply and the floor has stayed dry. I thought I had a couple of those in the tool room, but they are tall and I need a short one.

I didn't even get to use my wrench.

Because I was 1/2 way reading this thread and watching TV I thought you were talking about pool boys here-and had to re read it.
 
Sorry I have't trolled in awhile. Life has kept me busy but thought I'd pop in to see how everyone was doing. The scenery has changed abit but that's what keeps life interesting. Must get one of our lovely tea parties started in the tea room with Sadistic Bastard. He's always great fun!
