Dont you think the whole, Luke getting his fathers lightsabre would have seemed really unresolved?

I mean he gets the sword, plays around with it half heartedly in Bens hut, manages to get his arse whiped by some remotes, then flukes his way into blocking some shots, then its game over, back on his belt for the rest of the movie.

I mean would it have killed him to use it to open the hole to the garbage disposal, rather than having Liea blast it?

Or cut his way out of the disposal once he was in there?

But no, no more lightsabre action for the rest of the film from Luke, and if there had been no more sequals, no more action ever.

I don't know much about that, I've only seen each film about three times. But I reckon if it'd just been the one movie, it would have been remade by now and there'd probably be sequels of that.
