If You Date Pre-Teen Girls - A Bit of Advice....

...don't make fun of the movie "Twilight". There is actually a lot of incidents of Twilight fanatics attacking people who talk bad about the movie.

Here is a list of incidents, and it is growing by the day:

I was at school last week talking with my best friend about the Twilight movie. I saw it the day it came out and it sucked. It was like a shitty episode of season six Charmed. So then I figure I'd read the books, since the books tend to be better than the movies.

The books were fucking stupid.

I told this to my friend, who agreed with me. But there was this girl in our class named Louisa who is a total twitard that overheard us talking. She argued with me and when she couldn't force me to love the book, she stormed off.

When I was walking home from school, Louisa and her friends jumped me. Three of them held me down, while Louisa (whose heavy-set) jammed her knee into my arm and pulled on it until it snapped. They ran off when a woman came out of house yelling at them that she had called the cops.

They shattered my arm in two places. The doctor said it could take over a year before I get back full usage of my left arm.

We're going to court over it next month.

Amazing if true.

What's worse than pre teens that like Twilight? A 32 year old, reasonably intelligent woman that likes Twilight.

I thought it was just me until last weekend we were over at a friends grilling out and when we went to go pick out of movie, I saw him quickly remove the damn thing from the videos he had just bought. I called him on it, and then our wives launched into a discussion of the fucking movie vs book, how 'HOT' edward is, etc. etc.

These women are both in their 30s. :jayzus:

I mentor a younger photographer and, the other night, he posted his Facebook status as "getting ready to watch 'Twilight'".

:wtf:

The kid's in his mid- to late-20s. :wtf:

Well now you know he's gay, so you learned something.

I on the other hand had plenty of time to remove certain embarrassing items. :)

So, I downloaded this movie about a week ago and watched it.

Yes, it sucks. But, its drama and relation to teens makes it a GIANT seller for that age bracket.

Though, what really confused me was this. The non-realism of the movie struck me when the girl (who happens to be a loner and a book nerd) moves to an entirely new school in the middle of the spring semester, and apparently EVERYONE wants to be her friend. Nobody makes fun of her. All the guys want to get with her. Where is that magical fairy tale highschool that kids do that? Seriously. That's some sort of shit out of an episode of Sliders if you ask me.

#1 Never seen twilight.
#2 Have no intention of ever seeing Twilight.
#3 The kid that got his ass kicked by that fat chick is funny as hell.

Oh my Go†h !
Most you haven't even read Twilight and are hating on it.

I have many criticisms regarding Twilight, but I'm "glad" it introduces youngsters to the world of darkness.

World of Darkness? Don't you mean the world of teenagers who wear stripper glitter in sunshine?

I have a feeling you aren't talking about Twilight or Divine Secrets of the Traveling Pants. ;)

Hey, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants was awesome.

Well, the movies were, anyway. Alexis Bledel is hot.

I want to punch Amber Tamblyn in the throat.

If you have to ask such dumb questions, then you are an even greater moron than I had first suspected.
