it's an interesting premise if you subcribe to the theory of quantum physics that holds we create our own reality...that question was addressed in a sci fi book I just read last summer!...shit, which one was it?!?! It was one of the ones in that series by William Gibson's Bridge Trilogy. maybe it was Idoru?
