I'll give Battlestar Galactica another try

Let me first say that I loved the mini-series and the first 2 season. Each episode was a can't-miss.

However...starting with Ressurection Ship, the show started becoming deadly dull. On more than one occasion, I found myself falling asleep/i] while watching an episode. I just couldn't reconcile the lack of forward movement and action with previous seasons.

Now with all the write-up (it's on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly) I decided to give it another try. I "acquired" the eps I haven't watched in anticipation of next week's premiere.

Does the show get any better? I mean, seriously, the first 2-3 eps were really, really boring.

There were a few bad episodes in 2.5, Blackmarket sucked.. can't remember the names of the other episodes I didn't care for. Lay Down Your Burdens pt 1 and 2 were almost back to season 1 excellence, and I guess you quit watching before Pegasus aired? That was a good ep.

From the spoilers I've read, season 3 is going to be great. We'll learn alot more about the Cylons and their society. *spoiler* Cylons don't wear clothes most of the time.. lol Naked Six!

The Captain's Hand was a good one in 2.5 and the finale (Lay Down Your Burdens)...that's all I remember but I'm sure you'll like those ones at least.

God yes, stick with it. And get one of those viper helmets for 499.95 - make a statement around the office as well as on the go-kart track?

It's true, Lay Down Your Burdens could go either way, but it's enough of a good thing to mark itself out from the rest.

All I know is that the last five minutes of the season finale had me staring at the TV with my jaw open.

"I'm looking for Kara Thrace."
