He's very entertaining. And he managed to rile up the religious right today, by stating in a GQ interview that abortion rights should be left up to the states. They are so upset over that that they missed the other part of the interview where he states that being gay is no more a choice than being black.

Most of the religious right want it kicked back to the States. They've realized they can't get it banned on the Federal Level, but there are ALOT of states where it could pass.

Don't pay attention to what they say, look at what they do.

Many states such as Kansas already have 'tripwire' laws on the books. As soon as Roe v Wade is overturned and abortion handed to the states, the laws automatically come into effect and abortion is banned. No debate, no voting, nothing. Not too hard to slip those laws through, b/c they don't actually DO anything right now.
