Oh please, do you think being poor is an excuse NOT to drink? I was on unemployment for an entire year & still found the extra funds to purchase liquor. It may not have always been easy, I skipped a few haircuts, meals, baths & other non essential frivolities, but I always managed to scrape together enough to purchase the essential bottle of vodka as needed.

Yes. I have no unemployment money(waited to long to try and claim it). I basically get $200 in foodstamps(which can't be used to purchase alcoholic beverages) and my mom gives me money for gas for my car. Plus I owe thousands in back rent, overdrawn bank account, credit card, defaulted student loans, etc.
