I saw Katyn and The Promised Land recently, and enjoyed both of them. Andrzej Wajda's stuff is generally good, with the exception of the stuff he did that was commissioned as propaganda and Pan Tadeusz.

I suppose it depends on what your definition of "good" is, but if you like low-budget independent films that are kind of sci-fi-ish, give Primer a shot.
