How figure is calculated: Daily Mirror, The Sun, Daily Star, Daily Express, Daily Mail, The Times, The Independent, The Guardian, The Telegraph, and their sunday equivalents, plus Heat magazine and Now magazine. Please note: the sports pages are not included in the column inch count.

Every morning, five tabloids and four broadsheets are sieved for celebrity news. When we find an article related to a celebrity listed on Celebdaq, we measure the area of the page devoted to that story and input it into our system. Then once a week we do the same for two entertainment magazines. Please note: sports pages are not included in the column inch count.

The dividend payment per share is based on a rate of 0.0005 per square centimetre. Once the value per share has been calculated, based on the number of column inches generated over the last seven days, the figure is then square rooted to give the final dividend paid per share (providing you've held the shares long enough to qualify for the full dividend).
However, some publications are more celeb-obsessed than others - a front page splash in an upmarket broadsheet is much harder to get than in a red-top, so celebs earn more for it. Up to 12 times as much, in fact! Whereas every D-list celebrity gets a mention in the weekly gossip mags, so this kind of publicity earns you less.

WELL DONE IMOGEN!

MICHAEL BARRYMORE WILL BE RISING (UP THE CHART) FOUR PLACES FOLLOWING A VICIOUS SCISSORS KICK & SWANTON BOMB ON PETER DOHERTY.

Imogen Thomas has spoken out about Big Brother housemate Grace.

The former Miss Wales revealed she does not get on well with the dance instructor, and believes her relationship with Mikey is a marriage of convenience.

She told OK!: “I’ve heard that Grace said a lot of things about me and, although I did get on with her in the first two or three weeks, my opinion did change. Just as she was evicted I started to make other friends in the house and I found I liked them better then her.”

When asked if she believed Grace's relationship with Mikey was genuine, she answered "no", but went on to explain that it was not merely a one-way thing: "It’s both ways…I don’t even think he’s that into her to tell you the truth. I haven’t spoken to him or anything like that but I can usually tell.”
