Love Child

One Love
Um What

So I am sitting here doing homework and a man walks up to me, as if he knows me but then he introduces himself, shakes my hand, his name is Carmen.
He is from France, looks more like Ethiopia and he wants to know how do people in America make friends.

First, the guy said he was from France. LC surmises he is more likely from Ethiopia. Thererfore, European is the correct reference.

Second, Ethiopia, although on the continent of Africa, it is not now nor has it ever been Egypt.

Egypt up top, Ethiopia below to the right [cuddled by Somalia], Sudan separating them.

Next Day will be saying Greece is directly underneath France or something.

Also, if the guy is French: Make him surrender. It's how Americans make friends.

Also Cush and Egypt have always been different places too. The map you linked too clearly shows a division between Egypt and Cush. Cush is ancient Ethiopia. It may have been within the domain of Egypt, but Egypt has never be called Ethiopia. It's always been Egypt.

You know, I might have been wrong, Now that I think about it, he may have been from Somalia instead. He had a french email address. I gave him an address too, can you guess who's? : )

Loktar, have another look at the map.

The area shaded in dark green is the nile river. The area shaded in light green is egypt.

Ancient Egypt Map | Maps Of Ancient Egypt

^ This is what I was refering to Eloisel.

<-----I know my shit hon, trust me.

Look at your map again. The dark green is Egypt proper. The light green areas are regions SUBJECT to Egypt. Subject to and proper are not the same thing. Ethiopia is in the light green area noted as a region SUBJECT to Egypt.

Trust me hon - I'm a member of two Egyptology Societies. I live and breathe that stuff as well as write historical fiction on the subject of ancient Egypt. What's your credentials other than you can't read a color coded map with a legend?

What makes you think he was not telling the truth when he said he is from France?

I'm Egyptian? (did you really need me to tell you that?)

Have a look at this one Eloisel. I'm almost sure it will make more sense to you.
