According to the Bush people, Iran is a major threat that requires invasion because they might someday sort of, kind of, maybe start to think about building a nuclear weapon. But North Korea, which has bombs right now and is openly testing them, isn't a problem.
And it isn't really. North Korea was added to Bush's "Axis of Terror" list for one reason and one reason only, so that it didn't look like the US was only attacking Israel's enemies in the Mideast, even though that is precisely what we have been doing.
So now we have a situation where North Korea has the bomb and Iran does not, yet the invasion of Iran is imminent, because the reality is that Israel is calling the shots here and Israel doesn't give a damn about North Korea.
