Is Battlestar Galactica as good as Lost?

I have only ever watched Lost.

Yes, sometimes it's better than Lost and sometimes it isn't. It's a different kind of show though.

What are some similar shows? Is it mysterious and dark? Cornily futuristic? A morality tale? Are the actors better or worse than the actors on Lost? I have many questions.

It's dark and depressing at times. I think the acting is probably better than Lost, but I love Lost too, so it's hard to say. It is a morality tale. I can't think of any other TV show that it is similar to.. it's a drama, that happens in space.

Overall it's better than lost. Its best moments are probably better than Lost's best. I suppose you could compare it to something like DS9, except more "adult" and with more naturalist acting and writing. And jerky camera movemens. And beautiful special effects. I'd say Edward James Olmos, Katee Sachoff, James Callis and Michael Hogan are up there with Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn in acting terms.

The mini-series is a good taster and the first season is ever better.
