Is everyone obsessed with the music when they where a teenager?

Somewhat. It's more of a nostalgia thing but there's a fairly decent community radio station that does some obscure 80s/90s/00s stuff on Saturday nights. A lot of it I haven't really heard in decades so it's interesting to just listen in with zero effort on my part.

There's not much in the last decade that really trips my trigger too much.

Still love some '80s music, although some of it also now strikes my ear as unbearably cheesy. On the other hand, although I never had much of a taste for 'grunge' when I was a teenager, some of those bands later put out stuff that my adult ear finds... not displeasing.

No. The 80s really were a golden era of prosperity, culminating in 1992 with "Batman: The Animated Series." It's all been downhill since then.

Whoops, I'm rambling. Back on topic: Born in the USA. Like a Virgin. Thriller. Purple Rain. I Love Rock & Roll. Brothers in Arms. Great singles, great albums. Van Halen's 1984. Metallica's And Justice For All. You've got The Cure and The Cars and The Police. DEVO. Cheap Trick. Led Zepplin. More musical awesomeness than you can shake a stick at.

The Bangles. Forgot about them and didn't sneak them in before the edit but "In a Different Light" is an amazing album. The Kinks. Sad that Dave and Ray couldn't get along. They were easily on par with any of the other great British bands.

Like A Surgeon. Nature Trail to Hell. Dare to Be Stupid. I Love Rocky Road. I listened to alot of Weird Al Yankovic in the 80's and Dr Demento.

I'm a child of the 80's and I love 80's music. 90's were a little less, but I love the girl groups of the late 90s. 2000's were shit except for JPop and Anime music. Thankfully I discovered KPop in the 2010's and with all the girl groups that they have over there, it's like the 90s were rekindled. And now I just keep on with the KPop and JPop, and of course I'm still in the 80's.

90's I listened to alot of pop music such as Britney Spears, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, as well as showtunes/movie soundtracks.

Here's the first song I ever danced with a girl to. I was either 14 or 15. Somehow my hands ended up on her butt. Have NO idea how that happened...

I'm def still obsessed with 80s post-punk/new wave.

I was so happy when Eurythmics were finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the other week.

I still belong to online groups dedicated to Elvis Costello.

My biggest curated Spotify playlist is called "80s My Way".

I'm locked in.

I was super tired last night, ready for my bed, then I noticed channel 5 was doing the top 40 songs of the 80s, so bed was put on hold.

I didn't really like music until I was an adult, but I do find that when I hear a song I would hear all the time in childhood I can now appreciate it as being good. "Ah, turns out The Beatles are Good Actually."

Ringo taught me how to play the drums.

Figuratively, of course, but I learned to play listening to Beatles all through my young life.
