Is Japan a "Perverted" culture

I may have posted this here before, but I can't seem to find the thread. A handful of my "partners in crime" tend to believe that they are. I have never been to Japan and would really like to go there someday, so I cant answer this question myself without ever having lived there. I have seen japanese porn and many of their cartoons in the past, (what they call hentai anime), and I didnt see it as being any different from what we have here in the U.S. "only it was a lot more creative"!

So what are you thoughts? Do you think they have a "perverted" cuture, or are they just as normal as everyone else.

Besides, I have relatives who live in Japan. No, I don't have any Japanese in me. My great-uncle married a Japanese woman. Their children and grandchildren live there.
