Is Michael Bay REALLY that bad?

EVERYONE hates Michael Bay. Even people who don't know who he is (I'm guessing.) It seems to be one of those internet things. "Michael Bay? I HATE THE BASTARD!" But does he deserve it? I DON'T KNOW, THAT'S THE POINT OF THIS THREAD.

Bad Boys and Bad Boys 2: Haven't seen them.
The Rock: GREAT action movie. Yes it's fucking stupid but it's also fucking fun. He can't be ALL THAT BAD if he directed this.
Armageddon: I like it. I can see why it's hated. It's another one of those "America saves the world!" things but like The Rock it's cheesey fun (not as good as The Rock though.) AND PETER STORMARE LOL.
Pearl Harbour: I guess this is where the hate started, I've never seen it but I've only heard bad things.
The Island: Haven't seen it, Menty said it's good and I trust him and I like Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson so I'd probably like it.
Transformers: The fear seems to be that he'll "ruin" Transformers. I loved Transformers as much as any child of the eighties (A LOT) but I don't mind it being a big different and shit. And yes there will be lots of explosions and stuff but it's Transformers, YOU KNOW. I haven't read anything too horrible about it yet. It might not suck.

So IN CONCLSUION everyone on the internet is a fucking sheep and he CLEARLY isn't the worst director in the world so get off him you BASTARDS.
 
I dont hate him, Pearl Harbour was a bit too long, other than that it had some great action scenes
 
It's just easy to say "Michael Bay sucks!" because you know everyone else feels the same way, IT SEEMS.
 
Bad Boys is a great film. I have it on DVD. Still haven't seen Bad Boys 2 but I did hear some sucky things about it. (I used "sucky" instead of "bad" because it would of been confusing lolomg)


The Rock is a good movie also and Armageddon is an action film. It's not The English fucking Patient so yeah, it did what it set out to do and pretty well I thought.

The Island is ambitious and it lives up to it. I really liked this one and the greatest thing about it is whenever I'm reminded of it I can.. wait.. there she is. I see Scarlett Johansen in that white top with those awesome tits. This one of good folks.

Pearl Harbour: TRAVESTY.

Transformers: It will be good.
 
Its kind of like the people that hate Joel Shuemaker, for the two batman films he made, whilst forgetting he also made lost boys, phonebooth and falling down
 
I think the trouble with bad boys II was, they realised they could do so much with CGI, they forgot to do interesting things with the actors
