Is there a Stewart Lee thread?

If I search for "Stewart Lee" I'll just get loads of posts about Patrick Stewart and Kristen Stewart.

Like it or not, and I am not sure that I do, I am objectively the most critically acclaimed British TV comedian this century, and every one of my BBC series of the last decade has been either nominated for, or won, multiple Bafta, British Comedy and Chortle awards. Any panel on the future of the BBC that includes a phone app bloke over me is clearly not worth the beer mat it was hastily drawn up on.

There was because we talked about his Comedy Vehicle in there etc.

(I'm saving this article to read when I finish some work.)

Caught up with last week's Comedy Vehicle...it was the worst Stewart Lee material I've ever seen in my life.

There's been three episodes. First was good, second (Islamophobia) was great, third was terrible. He literally made farting noises for ten minutes. AND I KNOW repetition is part of his act, I loved the Richard Littlejon gravestone bit, but this was something else. Something not good.

Fourth episode was better, so maybe the third episode was an ironic commentary on how the third episode of comedy series are always bad.

I saw the end of this week's (I don't know why I bothered since I knew he'd be doing callbacks on jokes I'd missed) but he was just making weird noises for ages. :-/

Yeah...that bit started off good when he was naming foot items on parts of Rob Liddle's body (FUNNIER THAN IT SOUNDS) but it ended up being one of those "making a nosie for five minutes" jokes. And I hate eating noises. It was still better than the cat/flag bit two weeks ago.

The final episode (the sixth) was good. His anger at the audience (especially the bearded guy!) was quite convincing.
