Is there anything more utterly stupid than TAPS and Ghosthunters ?

I'd like to bitch slap whoever runs the scifi channel. Is there anything on that channel worth watching ?

TAPS has got to be the stupidest waste of an hour ever invented.

A group of people running around in the dark screaming "Did you feel that? Did you feel that? Its a ghost!"

"Look at the picture! It's an orb! Its an orb!"

My favorite line tonight was "Watch the meter. Ghost feed off the surrounding EM fields" or "Give off EM fields", I don't know how their fucked up logic works.

My question is WTF ? Why ?

And if souls suck up EM fields or give off EM fields or whatever why don't their own souls cause the EMF meters to go crazy !

I don't know, my head hurts.

I know one thing, my soul cries everytime this show comes on the air.

I love Jay and Grant. I'll tell you why people watch it. Show after show, they investigate some supposedly haunted place. Most of the time they say it isn't haunted and show what might be causing what people are mistaking for a haunting. Example: the couple with all the chemicals they used in their home business stored in the basement right under the ventilation system. The fumes were causing them to have hallucinations. Then, they go to places where someone is obviously messing with them. Example: The Queen Mary where someone messed with the camera and made it look like the bed unmade itself. Then, just about the time you think they are never going to find a place that is haunted, they go someplace like that lighthouse where you can see something running around on the upper floors and peeking over the banister but it isn't setting off the security lights.

I hate those shows.. the travel channel and the history channel both have ghost shows too. I guess there are a lot of people who buy into that shit.

I will give you the answer as to why there are stupid shows like that on TV. People watch them. There are two types of people that watch them, first the minority who are legitamitely into the subject matter. Then the second and majority group are people who enjoy laughing at stupid stuff on TV.
