Awesome movie. MovieS I should say, since I just picked up the set of all four last weekend.

It's more enjoyable to us desert rats.
 
The Sci-fi channel's reproductions are crap, IMHO. The David Lynch flick was close, but the real deal is the book series, and nothin' but.

God Emperor of Dune still blows me away after all these years.

Best Buy has the DVD set for 25 bucks. Look in the Family section. I've been meaning to pick it up for the extras, but I've seen them too many times...

I read the first tri YEARS ago, but I thought the Sci-Fi channel's was a nicer try than they usually air. Most of their movies are crap.

Today is Sandworm Day, including Tremors.

All that effort for little ol' me and you intend to use it as a sig? Whatever did I do to deserve such an honour? Now everyone will be reminded of my greatness every time you post. Such is the power of SAINTLUCIFER. I commanded this MORON to mention me in his sig and he did. I am in awe of me. I should like everyone to put their heads together and see how many sigs mention me. I already counted 4.
 
You mean by his son, Brian Herbert? Yeah, they're ok. They don't have the same feel of sixteen different plots going on at the same time - and by they time he gets to the Bulterian Jihad it's just a big blood bath.
