Once I dressed up as Tom Servo for Halloween, but I made the costume by myself and it was terrible and nobody got it.

I would have been there for you, my man. We could have re-enacted any number of great scenes from the show.

I used a hamster ball for the bubblegum ball-thingy. It was pretty pitiful. Joel or Mike? And which movie was it with the guy (heroine's dad?) turned into the avacado thing at the end?

...Robot Holocaust. Avacado man was a very thrilling point in the flick...

...I'll watch Joel and Mike, depending on the mood. I've got every episode, ever, so I guess I'm a fan of both equally.

I need to get them. Tell me, are the DVDs worth it, or should I just get old used copies? I'm not picky, but I do need to save up for the Star Trek sets.

Of course Joel is fantastic, a one of a kind gem. But my hormones scream for Mike.

All I've got right now are Catalina Caper, Skydivers, and Shorts I don't remember which volume. But I remember Manos well enough. And Double 007. And Zombie Nightmare. And so on. There was a Hercules or Sinbad one I saw only once a long time ago. When they said "Get..the..water..pistol!" I laughed so hard I threw up Totino's pizza rolls and orange juice.

You know, for a big fan like me, I'd buy the DVD sets. They have extras (cheesy extras) and introductions from Mike. Plus you'll be supporting the good folk at Best Brains, Inc.

But there's enough on eBay to whet your whistle, if you go lookin.

Ahh! The PC vs. Mac debate 'twixt Crow and Tom! Isn't that the one where in the background Joel asks if anyone has seen the mouse for his Amiga?

Yes, quite... that debate pretty much defines my entire work experience. There isn't any part of life that you can't reference with a MST3K bit.
