I watched "The secrets of Living Dolls"

It completely freaked me out. There was a scene where a 70 year old man was adding masses of talc to his rubber suit so he could slip it on. All I could think of was Buffalo Bill...

There was a company that specialised in the suits. Surely the FBI have their database? I fucking hope so, fuck civil liberties, these people need watching.

So many thoughts circulating at once:

1) How is this different from an episode of a Kardashian show?

2) Why is it that UK producers are the ones who do these documentaries and not any US ones? He's in NYC, hello? That guy who gawked at her in the street was probably a documentary producer -- they breed more than drag queens!

3) GRRRRL - black curtains in the kitchen? No, no honey. You put da KITSCH in kitchen.

4) Truthfully, the first image that came to mind was all the masked people in the orgy scene in Eyes Wide Shut.

Everyone at work was talking about this all day so I watched it when I got in (on my tablet, not the tv, as I didn't want to subject my flat mate to it too). Very weird... And unintentionally amusing. They're not doing any harm, though you do wonder what some of them would be up to if the suits didn't exist.

Best bit was when the wig blew off.
