I've Decided

Too bad the intelligent people who would vote for Ron Paul are outnumbered by faux-conservatives who will vote for McCain or moronic school girls who think Obama is sexy (You don't want to see the Youtube of the bint explaining how she 'likes' the foreign policy she can't even explain.)

I have been following his campaign closely and have donated to it, along with handing out fliers of his positions and especially his record. I, too, will be writing him in.

Now, who wants to see the Youtube videos of Paul utterly destroying his opponents in debate? They were quite the massacres.

I like Ron Paul. Too bad its a wasted vote.

No vote is a wasted vote. Even if your candidate can't win, it still sends a message and the more people who are willing to "waste" their vote to send that message, the better.

I voted for RP in the primaries and unless he's still on the ballot in November, I'll vote for Barr.

;)

Actually, I don't think my vote is wasted. I am allowed to write in my choice. Drive around Texas sometime. Paul's billboards are everywhere. There are many people who intend to write him in as their candidate of choice. Maybe it won't be enough to win the office. It's not like McCain is doing much in the way of wooing voters. He's got the Republican nomination and assumes Republicans will vote for the party. I think he might regret that assumption.

Ron Paul should be voted as the honorary president of the world wide web or some shit, to satisfy the legions of his internet supporters.

Too bad that lobbies are the ones who decide the main candidates/presidents, and not nobodies posting on TrollKingdom, 4chan, and IGN forums.

Eww, ED. Ron Paul regularly had thousands of supporters attending his appearances, typically beyond the capacity of whatever venue hosted him. Hands down there was no Republican candidate who had as much grassroots support as he did. It's hardly a dichotomy of the ultra-powerful and a few 'net nerds.

Fair enough, but isn't there at least a little concern that a write-in campaign might Nader an unwanted candidate into office, since, even with write-ins, Ron Paul still doesn't have a ghost of a chance?
