It was awesome actually. We were up in Fairfield (just south of the Canadian border) in a huge farm. We were playing in this nice large heated garage, and there were about 200 people there altogether. At one point, there was a cord of wood in the bonfire and there was some good stuff from that.
We did sets and played til about 4:30, since it was the end of DLS and all. The band is starting to gel, and a new CD is coming together pretty nicely, probably be done in february.
We decided to go with Ion Eyez, I'm still not that comfortable with the new name, but it's better than some of the stuff that was being bandied around.
Practice tonight, this week off, and then we leave for a 7 gig project bringing us down to boston to front for a nice band down there for a couple of nights and we end up at Higher Ground, the best venue in Burlington.
So it's fun, and all good.
