According to the movie, the song "Big Girls Don't Cry" is basically a domestic violence reference.


Or......an episode where a guy slaps a girl and one guy says, "I bet she is going to cry" and the other guy says, "Big girls don't cry" then they wrote a song.

I haven't seen the show (even though it's been running for 8+ years) but I knew Clint was directing the movie.

The last "jukebox" musical I went to see was "Five Guys Named Moe" 20 years ago.
