Got up early this morning to go to a class. I thought the place would be easy enough to find but the place was at 4600 XXX street and the street deadended at 2200 XXX street. I couldn't find where the street picked up fast enough and even if I'd have used Onstar for directions, I would've been late. So, I didn't go. It isn't like it was a mandatory class.
Since I was out and about early in the day, I went to Kohl's to do some shopping. Didn't see anything I liked for me, the kid, or the new office so I left. Stopped at Target and bought myself two new dresses, four new pairs of earrings, a necklace for me and a necklace for my daughter, and a new picture for my new office - a painting of people sitting at bistro tables under shady trees on a boardwalk alongside a Chocolatier, a French Bistro, and some other shops with striped awnings over their display windows. It suits me and I'll enjoy looking at it when I have the time to look at it. Then, went to Panchos and had lunch - Mexican food. After that I went to the storage unit and unloaded all the Christmas decorations I'd taken out of my office yesterday and put in the trunk of my car. Then I went to Walmart. Bought two new jackets to go with the new dresses - they are sleeveless and we can't wear sleeveless at work; bought myself a new pair of shoes and picked up some pantyhose. A girl needs to wear new clothes to the new office on the first day or two.
I'll finish up moving into the new office on Monday and plan to have a little party in there on Tuesday.
