I finally got a chance to watch the series premiere last night. I had been seeing the billboards in Los Angeles for awhile now, and I'm a fan of Timothy Olyphant. The fact that the character and even some of the dialogue is from Elmore Leonard, well that sealed the deal for me.
The premiere episode was very good, it set up the season and introduced the characters nicely, without being too full of exposition or backstory. Just enough to hook ya.
Walton Goggins, who was phenomenal on The Shield, was equally excellent in the premiere. I just worry that, with him being the "big bad" of sorts, he can't really be used for more than one season, without it feeling stale.
I look forward to this new show, it's got incredible potential.
