oh.. her favorite actor is Tom Cruise and she eats Lucky Charms. SHE MUST GO!

And she's named after a soggy vegetable!

Oh, I just looked at the site and saw the group pic.. they all meet before they go in?!?!

No. But they live in the house for 3-4 days before the TV feeds/show starts. So the promo shots are probably taken in those first "off" days.

Weird. So is it all glossy and slightly fake like those Joe Millionaire/Beauty and the Geek type things?

No live audience sux. Plus the Chinese lady presenter is no Davina McCall.
There's a live audience for the finale/final three. And yes, everyone here hates Julie Chen too. The trouble is, she's married to the head of the network. So we're stuck with her.

The bloggers call her Chenbot.

So you don't have a live launch with them all going in and saying "we'll all be such good friends!"
They taped the house entrance "live" for the first televised episode a few days later. But by the time the first ep aired on Thursday they'd already had their first food competition, first Head of Household competition and first round of nominations. Which will all be shown on the Sunday and Tuesday eps, then the live eviction Thursday and the new Head of Household competition (also live).

They (BBUS) don't have a daily show which is a nice way to keep up with what's been going on in the house. But then again, the UK version dropped the Saturday daily edition as well. So now I got nothing to do on Saturday nights. :rwmad:

Monday's episode should make up for Saturday's lack of an episode, it's shaping up to be a cracker.

I like the Head of Household idea. It'd be great to see the BBUK contestants vie for that position.
