Kilmer, DeNiro, and Pacino's "Heat"

Voltage

I know, this is an old movie.

I remember my friends telling me it was good. I never got around to seeing it in theaters or renting it.

Mrs. Voltage and I are going to rent a few flicks this weekend. There aren't a whole lot of new releases we're interested in, so we're thinking of checking out "Heat."

Is it worth our time? Money-wise, it's probably like a buck or two 'cause it's old.

It's got some really quality players in it and some pretty good interplay between the good guys and bad guys, and IIRC it doesn't cut too many cheap plot corners or take the Holywood ending. Nice climactic scenes too. I'd say get it.

When I saw it in the theater they had the sound up super super loud and the gunplay scenes were deafening. I'm already deaf, I had a great time of it.

CRACK POW!!! POW POW!!! KA-POW!!!

The bank scene is to die for.

Pretty shallow movie, with a straighforward predictable plot, but the cast makes it a perfectly watchable movie that requires little to no thinking. Best taken in after a few beers.

I liked it. Good Quality movie. Make sure you get the widescreen version.

It was good, but I remember getting pissed off at Robert DeNiro's girlfriend. So what if he's a bad guy? He loves you and wants to be with you. Get some balls, woman!
