Koloth Boards the Barge to Sto'Vo'Kor

They were basically the Ferengi of the Klingon world. Yes they died in battle, but it was hardly an honourable one. They basically died scheming.

Yeah they did destroy the Enterprise, but they didn't live to see the look on the face of the crew.
Nor did they eat Picard's heart. Which would have been a funny scene when they ripped open his chest and discovered that it was artificial.

They would have been very displeased by that.

DR Dave no where have I seen it written in cannon that the the Duras sisters were the Ferngi of the Klingon world. That is just YOUR Moose-nosed opinion!

ALSO, I'm not sure what happened to the baby actually.

If it's the one I think you're talking about, wasn't he a teenager and he was meant to be able to lead the Empire because he was the last remaining male relative of Duras line, except it turned out he was really just a random kid they'd found? I never really enjoyed the Klingon episodes, so half of that's probably incorrect. In the TNG era the writers seemed determined to make every single Klingon a bloodthirsty soldier, which just didn't give their society any roundedness or believability. IIRC, they once showed a nanny and there were a couple of traders over the years, but other than that they were all warriors and they never bothered to address farming or the arts or anything else that you'd expect a real culture to have. Very 2-dimensional imo. And the politics tended to be quite stuffy and boring as well.

Duras (the one Worf killed for murdering Lady Q who was Worf's mate) had a son who the aunts kept secret. They tried to make him the new ruler of Klingon Land in some TNG two-parter but failed. He appeared again in the DS9 episode "The Sword Of Kahless" where I don't think he died so I don't know what happened after that.

NO, what I'm talking about is the episode where Alexander travelled back in time to kill his younger self for not being tough enough (these stories are pretty stupid written down!) and he had a knife from the future that indicated one of the sisters had a baby and Worf said "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD A BABY" and the Duras Sister said "I JUST FOUND OUT I'M PREGNANT" which is how you knew it was from the future. It's that baby I was talking about.

Yeah, the Klingon stuff got annoying. The Klingon Chef on DS9 was awesome though.

Klingon polotics usually boiled down to:

Klingon A: We should do this!
Klingon B: No we shouldnt!
A stabs B to death
A: Any more objections?

It was an opinion anyway.
