Kurt Vonnegut Is Dead

Eggs Mayonnaise

All In With The Nuts
Considering all his troubles, 84 years is not a bad run.

Now he can play gin rummy with Spalding Gray and Flaubert.

RIP.

THE ۞RACLE IS TRULY SADDENED BY THIS.

MASTER VONNEGUT WAS IN TOUCH WITH MANY OF THE HIGHER TRUTHS, AND WAS NOT FAR FROM THE QUIESCENT.

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT NOW, HE BEHOLDS IT FOR ALL ETERNITY, ENFOLDED IN ITS SERENE EMBRACE.

WOULD THAT WE SHOULD ALL FARE SO WELL WHEN OUR OWN DAYS COME.

Wow. A real human person is dead and you respond like this.

Anyway, I was a huge fan of Vonnegut's, though I only read "Slaughterhouse 5" in high school.

He seemed like a great man and was definitely a great writer.

My prayers go out to his family.

Be patient till the last.
aw...man.

I know, I know, 84 is a good kick at the can...it's just saying goodbye to an old friend issall...

glad I've lived long enough to see a new generation of highschool students discover his books and find them as riveting, challenging, and sometimes - flat out hilarious- as I did.
R.I.P.

The Legendary Troll Kingdom
84 is a good age. Slaughterhouse five was wonderful.

The Legendary Troll Kingdom
Robert Anton Wilson was totally inspired by Cat's Cradle.

It's definitely his best work. I think it's his only book that will be widely read in 50-100 years. It's a pretty incredible achievement.
