Last week's Doctor Who kinda sucked

The 2-part "aliens in London" story wasn't so good. But this week's episode, featuring the Daleks, looks to be awesome.

Anyone know why Christopher Eccleston only lasted one season? Did he fear being typecast? How's the new bloke doing?

This past weeks-the Dalek episode-was fucking BRILLIANT. Everything Doctor Who should be, and then some. AWESOME! The show is back on track!

Its something like David Tenant I believe.

I don't get the Eccleston love. Sometimes he's just painful to watch. The scenes of him getting "shocked" by the alien ID card, the whole end of the Dalek episode where he's carrying around a gun that looks like it dropped out of a Ratchet and Clink video game, the whole "You Lot, Just Chill" moment in The End of the World, the whole last part of The End of the World where he's supposed to be "mad". Ugh.
