Law & Order

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
Dad was in town this week for the wedding, and he's a big fan of the show. I watched an episode for the first time, it had Hilary Duff in it. Pretty good show. Is this the first or second season? Would it be easy to catch up?

lol... Law and Order (which ever one, I think there are three) has been on the air for almost 20 years!

Rubbish. Never heard of it until Dad watched it with me. That Sam Waterson is a real up-and-comer!

The one with Hilary Duff was this year according to wikipedia. And it was L&O:SVU and not the regular one apparently.

Oh, the Law & Order I watched was about some "fight club" and they tried the mob as terrorists.

Wow, looks like there are a lot of episodes to catch up on. Anyone know if they ever re-run them on any channel?

The only L&O ep I've watched in the last 15 years was the one Carol Burnett guest-starred in.

Other than that, it's a completely disposable show, in any incarnation. And Vinny D'Onofrio should be beaten vigorously with a billy club for his relentless overacting.

The only redeeming quality to it is the amount of work it gives to NY actors.

Go to any Broadway or Off-Broadway show and look at the Who's Who in your Playbill, and every single actor has a L&O credit in their bio. It's like built-in welfare for local union actors.

I like SVU and I can watch the original show, but can't stand Criminal Intent. Blurgh.

Oh and the UK version was fairly good. It had Apollo from BSG and Martha from Dr Who.

Some of CI was good.

I dislike SVU. It was a decent show early on, but lost its way.

I haven't seen it recently, but when I did I appreciated its fairly tight and interesting storytelling. Much better than CSI, which always has ludicrous stories that still get boring by the halfway mark.

Amen to that. What the fuck happened to him? He was so laid back in the 80's with Adventures in Babysitting and Mystic Pizza. Hell, even The Cell he was tolerable in. But CI he's just fucking annoying.

I think the money (coke) has gotten to him, and he's bored. But he likes the money (coke).

^^He does coke and he's fat? WTF, commit already, you motherfucker!

John Belushi. Chris Farley. Nuff said.
