I want to smell dark matter
Her increasing "oh I can't be fucked!" look as the others came in was funny. Won't last long. BUT MAYBE SHE SHOULD!?

About:

Lesley, our oldest housemate to date, is an active member of the Women's Institute and has two children and two grandchildren.

In her pre-BB interview she told producers: "The British public will either love me or hate me - either way they’ll want to keep me in... I think there’s a strong possibility that I’ll win."

Lesley originally married at aged 16, but divorced and married again to her second husband who is 23 years older than her.

Lesley has ran a string of successful businesses, including a recruitment and dating agency. She and her husband have recently returned from a stint in Portugal lasting six years, where she decided to pursue being a stand-up comedian. When at home, she enjoys dinner parties and country weekends and admits to not being very domesticated, by having her own cook and personal trainer.

Lesley admits that she would hate to share the house with a bunch of 'no-hopers', and dislikes 'negative under-achievers, arrogance, people without ambition and people who don’t try.

Menty's first thoughts:

I'm always suspect of why people north of 50 want to partake in Big Brother. Then again I'm suspicious of anyone who wants to partake in Big Brother. Seems reserved and a little detached from the goings on at this early juncture. I imagine a friendship with Carole will develop due to the similar ages despite being very different people.

She's channeling Nick Huer with that over-the-glasses stare, but I don't mind her so far. She seems a bit of an outsider, but she's in a house with a bunch of irritating squealing lunatics. I'd prefer my own company as well under those conditions.

I was bang on! Her sardonic humour WAS quite entertaining, she didn't last long, and she probably should have stayed longer. But really the producers should have known she was likely to walk out within two weeks, it was obvious to me as soon as I saw her.

"It's very nice in here" she said of the matress. :( She made me laugh far more than Brian ever did with his stupid catchphrases.
