Let me ask gun owners a question or two

Are you happy with the current gun laws in the United States?
Is there anything that needs to be changed or that can be revised?
What is the ideal gun law for the U.S.?
 
I am beginning to wonder if some of my conservative family members believe that it is #NotTheirResponsibility to find a solution for violence that is happening in schools.
 
There is no ideal gun control law for this nation. No gun control law will even remotely work. Time has proven this, just like time has proven that enforcement of alcohol laws and drug laws do not effectively work.

Besides, you could ban all firearms tomorrow, and it would be spit in the wind. The removal of all firearms is logistically impossible.

Want to stop or slow down school shootings? Develop a moral framework for the kids because the Left certainly doesn't have one other than do whatever feels good.

I get that. I wouldn't want to remove all fire arms anyway. But what I don't like about this logic is why do we have any laws then? Why have a seatbelt law, a drinking and driving law etc etc. There has to be a starting point and a standard by which to hope to obtain knowing that it will not ever be fully achieved. (I think)

I don't disagree with developing a moral framework for kids. I grew up in a farming area and most of the kids had chores and animals to take care of. I almost think introducing some of these kids to this lifestyle, giving them responsibility and something to care for could make a huge impact on them. Not doable in every school of course, but I think similar programs could work.
 
Roll it back to the way it was before 1934. You could go down to the local Abercrombie & Fitch and buy a crew-served machine gun. You could probably have a Thompson submachinegun mailed to you from the Sears catalog. I want a P90.
 
Oh, and Constitutional carry. I don't want to have to ask the police for permission to carry if I feel the need to.

All those kids and adult shooters were on anti depressants. When the anti gun folks acknowledge this then they can have a reasonable conversation. London's murder rates has recently surpassed New York City, and that's by knife (And acid) attacks so Explain that chestnut. The gun violence statistics also include death by self inflicted gunshots. There's been a lot. We live in a irresponsible society too fixated on pharmaceutical solutions, and self gratification and self hatred.
