Choose a square and draw it in paint. Probably best to say which square you're doing as well. (keep canvas dimensions set to 100x100) and then post it here. When we are finished we will put it back together again and marvel at our creation and then we can all shut the fuck up about Obama until he either saves the world, is (hopefully not) assassinated or fucks something up royally.

OKHold off for a moment because I'm going to make a better grid image with the right size tiles. PM them to me when they're done. I'll get the new grid up now.

OK, new grid is up (sorry about that) Choose your square then recreate it in a 100x100 canvas in MS Paint. A little artistic license is welcome ;) just try and keep the edges matched obviously. Once you have done your square PM it me with the square reference number (also say the square you're doing here so others don't do dupes.

Now it occurs to me that you could just open the whole image in paint and then draw your square (since the grid sizes are already 100x100) then crop it out, save it and send it to me. That's probably the best way to do it and will ensure that everything matches perfectly as well.


Also..thanks to Bad Dog for sending me the first piece of our epic masterpiece C3!
 
Once others have done a square I will do another to help fill in.

For some reason when I put the Obama pic into paint the square was only 88x86 or something, so I enlarged it to 100x100. Hopefully it isn't distorted or anything.

You could do a subtle tartan pattern to mimic cotton thread.
